I bought the lifetime access programme
I bought the lifetime access programme, but it has not been applied to my account. I’ve emailed, but received generic reply saying it takes 5-7 days for them to respond… not good enough

Good content on the app
Good content on the app. Fairly easy to understand the exercises even without translation. However there is no vocabulary list to refer to for revision, only an audio file that is not suitable for quick lookup of a word or phrase.

unacceptable limitations for online tutoring sessions
despite having purchased the unlimited all languages lifetime plus 12 months coaching I am really disappointed that I can only book a tutor session and no more can be booked until I attended that session, this actaully strongly limit the number of tutoring sessions I can attend as many slots would have been taken by the time I can book the next session, therefore it might be another week or more before I can book and attend the next. the system asks me to purchase more sessions even if I have already purchased the subscription! This was not disclosed at the time of purchasing.
Also Android app has no functionality for booking or attending any of the tutoring sessions, therefore I can only do that from a PC/laptop, again this was not disclosed at the time of purchasing

The program works for me although sometimes it is hard to tell some of the photos apart in certain lessons, but that might be down to my poor eyesight!

Do not get Rosetta Stone!
Absolutely would not recommend Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone has 2 major problems with it. Firstly, it is incredibly boring. It is repetitive and the only activities available to you are matching pictures to words. After about 10 minutes of this it makes you tired, bored and uninspired to learn the language.
Secondly, not only is it boring but it is not educational in the slightest. Rosetta Stone offers no insight into how to use the grammar and just immerses you in the language, expecting you to know. Not only this but there is not even any culture notes, no background information which leaves you again, bored and uninspired.
In sum, I would definitely not recommend this product and would instead recommend other language learning products (such as Busuu or even Duolingo which is free). Purchasing the lifetime Rosetta Stone membership was the biggest mistake I have made. The only actual positive is that I managed to get my money back!

They take full amounts, no discounts given,
Case Number : 08756252. Their offer was 12 months subscription for £94.50. They have taken £189.00 off my credit card. No way on line to cancel in the 30 day period. No on on the chat contact. Emailed them and given the above case Number. I am now CANCELING the course so Refund what you took WITHOUT authorisation. You have 10 days to refund in full else I contact my credit card company and tell them this was an unauthorised transaction amount. You can then sort it out with my credit card company. Cancel Now I am well within my 30 day period.

A useful programme for reinforcing learning
I've being using this programme for a couple weeks and I'm still finding my way around and trying to find the right level for my 2 languages. Most of the mistakes I'm making are because I misinterpret the pictures rather than not understanding the meaning of the written or spoken text. Some of the images are very small.
It's very good for improving pronunciation.
Using this programme should help to reinforce more formal face-to-face learning.

I used this product with my work and I LOVED THIS PRODUCT. Sadly they cancelled the licence. I bought the personal licence, and annoyingly you only only to book one live session at a time. That is ridiculous and I’m considering requesting a refund.
More grown-up than Duolingo but could be improved
A great improvement on the somewhat childish user interface of Duolingo, which I had been using before. The spoken phrases are very clear and the voice recognition seems pretty good.
I'm finding it difficult sometimes to interpret the photographs, particularly on a small tablet screen - sometimes I have got answers wrong not because of my French but because the pictures aren't clear enough. The method of learning, only through hundreds of photos so far, may get a bit tedious - maybe it's too soon to judge after only 3 or 4 days but I hope there are other types of lessons later.
Mostly very good
Mostly very good. Because of the emphasis on visual cues, it is not always clear what situation is being suggested; I sometimes have no idea at all what story the picture is supposed to represent, or where I am supposed to tap/click (this is a visual interpretation issue, not a language issue). Also on a phone many of the images are too small to see, though they are fine on a PC. And some of the content does not download - I got an error message saying my browser was too small and then I was supposed to unzip files, which did not work. Overall though, a well designed and engaging programme of learning.

A good start
So far I'm enjoying using Rosetta stone to learn Polish ( only on my second week). There's lots of opportunities to practice speaking and it's very forgiving of bad pronunciation so I don't get hopelessly stuck on words I struggle to say. Very visual although some of the pictures are hard to see on a phone, probably better on a tablet.
I've been using Duolingo and babble for years and still can't hold a conversation and can't say much... though my spelling is excellent! I'm hoping this approach will get me speaking by the time of my next visit to Poland in a few months.
